This season I really lucked out by working with some great artists. I took a day trip to Chicago to help a friend out with her video/commercial shoot and to talk shop. Although I was at a studio all day I made sure I was able to run down to visit Cloud Gate in Millennium Park to view this amazing sculpture. Kapoor was influenced by liquid mercury and as you can see reflects/distorts Chicago's skyline.

During the Spring as I was finishing up my final college credit to go towards my Business Degree (an actor with a Business Degree who knew) I had the good fortune to work with one of my favorite artists Jason Hackenwerth. Over the course of a week we inflated and installed a 40 feet tall balloon sculpture in the rotunda of The Guggenheim Museum. It was an honor to collaborate with the Guggenheim and Jason.

Having studied at ESPA/Primary Stages last year I was asked to act in their annual play festival held at 59e59 Theaters. Our cast was directed by Drama Desk winner Josh Hecht. The playwrights involved included Neil LaBute, Ken Urban, Itamar Moses, and Rajiv Joseph (whose play I worked on and so happens to be one of my favorite playwrights).
